You can jump to a video explanation of these settings by using the table of contents on the right side of your screen.
1. Accessing Position Settings
Navigate to Settings > Positions.
This is where you can manage the permissions associated with each position within your organization. Click the position you want to adjust.
2. Granting Permission to Manage Safety
Once you’ve selected a position, the option for Manage Safety is on the right side.
When you check the box for the Create Incident Reports permission you’ll see a second option as well since there are two levels of permissions for managing safety incidents:
Create Incident Reports:
This level allows the designated position to create incident reports. They can file reports for themselves and for anyone else they have permission to track time for.
Manage Incident Reports:
This deeper level of permission grants the position additional capabilities. In addition to creating and filing incident reports, the position can also view, edit, delete, and review all incident reports within the system.
3. Admin Permissions
Administrators always have permission to manage safety incidents by default. This ensures that key personnel have the necessary oversight and control over safety-related matters within the organization.
4. Enabling Daily Sign-Off Injury Question
If you wish to include the injury daily sign-off question for your employees, you'll need to enable this feature.
Click on Settings.
Click on Daily Sign In/Out.
Under Daily Sign-Off enable Safety Sign-Off.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage permissions for safety incidents within your organization, ensuring that the right individuals have the necessary access and authority to maintain a safe work environment.
