Some companies prefer to have a dedicated Safety Training and Sign Off report for supervisors to use during and after training. You can learn more about how to create that specific report type HERE. However, it’s not necessary to create a separate template. You can seamlessly attach safety training material to the Safety Section of any Field Report. Accessing Field Reports
From the main menu, tap on Reports.
Select Field Reports. Alternatively, supervisors can access Field Reports by tapping on Supervisor Tools, then More, and finally Field Reports.
Tap on the plus button to create a new report and select the project this report will be assigned to.
Enabling Training Material
Access Safety Section Settings: Once on the Create Report screen, you'll see the basic report sections, including Safety. Tap on the gear icon then select the Safety section.
Enable Training Material: Within the Safety section settings, toggle on the option to Attach Training Material. Then tap Done to apply the changes.
Attaching Training Material
Access Training Material: Return to the Create Report screen. Now, when you tap on Safety, you'll see the option for training material. Tap on it to access the Training Library.
Select Training Material: Browse through the list of articles or use the search function to find specific training material. You can also filter by category or source. Once found, tap on the desired training material and add it by tapping Select Material. You can add any comments or photos here as well.
Confirmation: After selecting the training material, tap the back arrow.
There will be icons on the Safety section to indicate that training material, comments, and/or photos have been successfully attached.
Preview and Submission
Preview Report: At this point, you can preview the Field Report to ensure all necessary details, including the selected training material, are attached.
Sign and Submit: If everything looks correct, sign the report and tap the Submit button to finalize it.
Attaching training material to the Safety section of a Field Report is a straightforward process that enhances the documentation of safety briefings. By seamlessly integrating training materials into Field Reports, companies can ensure that important safety information is easily accessible and properly recorded!
