Did you know you can create a specific list of cost codes that are assigned to each of your projects? This is called “Project Scoping”. This allows your employees to only view the cost codes assigned to the project they are working on, instead of scrolling through possibly dozens of unrelated cost codes.

Before you get started: If you have Project Scoping turned on, but have not assigned cost codes to a project, your employees won’t be able to clock into that project.

It’s important to consider why and how cost codes can benefit your company. By being more detailed about how you’re tracking labor, you’ll have a greater understanding of how you can bid projects and be more efficient.
