Activity Reports help you understand your job costs and make more accurate bids. Job costing for subprojects can be viewed in Activity Reports on both web and mobile. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to export subprojects within Activity Reports on web!

You can also check out our videos HERE for a walkthrough of how to do this.

Viewing Subproject Information

  1. Log in to your account and navigate to the Activity Reports section in the left hand menu and select your desired report.

  2. There will be a small plus icon next to your projects if they have subprojects.

  3. Click on the plus icon to expand and view the subprojects associated with the parent project.

  4. Now you can see the breakdown of the subproject total hours or total costs, just like you can see for the overall project.

Exporting Subproject Data

  1. Click on the three-dot stack icon in the top right corner.

  2. Click the circle next to the Subproject Totals. This will export the subproject and unassigned totals for each project in the list.

Note: when time is marked as Unassigned it means that there was no subproject selected for that entry.

  1. Choose Export, which will export the file in a .csv format that you can open with a program like Excel or Google Sheets.

By effectively managing and exporting subproject data, you can significantly improve your job costing and project management processes!
