Poor GPS Signal Reception

Symptoms:

  • Your GPS device struggles to acquire or maintain a strong signal, leading to inaccurate location data.

Possible solutions:

  • Check Location: ensure you are in an open area without tall buildings, trees, or other obstructions that could hinder satellite signal reception.

  • Power off your device, wait a few seconds, and then power it back on. This can help reset the GPS functionality.

  • Turn on your Bluetooth and Wi-fi to help increase accuracy.

Inaccurate Breadcrumb Pins

Symptoms:

  • The GPS feature of busybusy is not functioning properly.

Possible solutions:

  • Toggle Airplane Mode: Turn on Airplane Mode, wait a few seconds, and then turn it off. This can sometimes refresh connectivity.

  • Close unnecessary apps running in the background to free up system resources.

  • Make sure your GPS device's software is up-to-date, as manufacturers often release updates to improve performance and signal acquisition.

  • Disable and re-enable GPS by going to Device Settings > busybusy to recalibrate your location.

  • Update the busybusy app to the latest version available.

  • Reinstall the app if issues continue.

Privacy Settings and Permissions

Symptoms:

  • Your device's GPS isn't functioning due to privacy settings or denied permissions.

Possible solutions:

  • Check your device's privacy settings to ensure GPS access is granted to the busybusy and set to ALWAYS.
