Manage Categories for Safety Observations (Web & Mobile)

Managing categories for safety observations helps organize and categorize reports for better tracking and analysis. This article explains how to manage safety observation categories on both the web and mobile platforms of busybusy. There are videos included at the end of each set of instructions as well.

Web Instructions:

  1. Access Safety Observations:

    • From the left-hand menu, click on Safety, then select Observations.

  2. Manage Categories:

    • Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the Observations screen.

    • Select Manage Categories.

  3. Create or Edit Categories:

    • To create a new category, click Create, type the category name, and click Submit.

    • To edit an existing category, click on it, make your changes, and click Save.

    • You can also delete categories from this screen if needed.

Mobile Instructions (iOS & Android):

  1. Access Safety Observations:

    • From your main menu, tap Safety, then tap the Observation icon at the bottom.

  2. Manage Categories:

    • Tap the three dots (...) in the upper-right corner.

    • Select Manage Categories.

  3. Create or Edit Categories:

    • Tap the Plus button to add a new category. Enter the name and tap Save.

    • To edit or delete an existing category, tap on the category, make your changes, or tap Delete to remove it.
