When submitting a safety observation, you can attach a GPS location to provide more accurate details about where the observation occurred. This article walks you through adding a GPS pin on both iOS and Android.
Mobile Instructions (iOS & Android):
Access the Safety Menu:
From your main clock-in screen (dashboard tray), tap on the Safety icon.
If you don’t see the icon, tap the three dots (...) to find it.
Report Observation:
Tap the Report Observation button and begin filling out your observation details.
Show Advanced Options:
Tap Advanced Options to access more fields.
Add a GPS Pin:
In the Geolocation section, you’ll have the following options:
Use Current Location: Automatically sets your phone’s current GPS coordinates.
Use Project Location: Sets the geolocation based on the selected project’s geofence.
Set Manually: Allows you to manually select a location by tapping on the map.
Save Observation:
Once you've set the GPS pin, continue filling out the rest of the observation details and tap Save to submit your observation.
