Edit an Employee’s Time Entry on the Mobile
Step One: Get Started
- Select the hamburger menu (three stacked lines) on the top left corner
- Select Employees
- Select the employee’s name you’d like to edit time for
- Select Time Cards
Step Two: Edit the Employee’s Entry
- At the top of your screen, make sure you are on the ENTRIES tab. Find the entry you’d like to edit and select the pencil icon on the bottom right corner of the entry
- If you’d like to edit multiple entries at once, select the three dots in the top right corner >> Edit Multiple Entries
- Edit Project Details: Select the Project box and use the search bar at the top to type in your project’s name, or scroll down the list to choose your new project
- Edit Cost Code Details: Select the Cost Code box and use the search bar at the top to type in your cost code’s name, or scroll down the list to choose your new project
- Edit Equipment Details: Select the Equipment box and use the search bar at the top to type in your equipment’s name, or scroll down the list to choose your new project
- Add/Edit Description: Select the Description box to either edit or add a new description to the time entry
- Edit the Start Time: Select the Start Time box and use the pop up at the bottom of your screen to scroll and select the date, hour, minutes, and AM or PM
- Edit the End Time: Select the End Time box and use the pop up at the bottom of your screen to scroll and select the date, hour, minutes, and AM or PM
- Edit Total Time: Select the Total Time box and use the pop up at the bottom of your screen to scroll and select the hours and minutes
- Add/Edit Break Time: Select the Break Time box and use the Start Time and End Time steps above to adjust the date, hour, minutes, and AM or PM. Use the Total Time steps above to adjust the hours and minutes.
Once all edits are made to the entry, select Done on iOS, or Save on Android in the top right corner
Edit Time Using Daily Sign-Off Report
Time Accuracy Daily Sign-Off Questions must be turned on in your settings in order to do this. |
- Select the hamburger menu (three stacked lines) on the top left corner
- Select Reports
- Select Daily Sign-Off
- Use the arrows on the top left and right of your screen to select the day you need to adjust time for
- Select the employee that reported incorrect time
- Select the time with a red flag associated with it
- If an employee left a note on why their time was incorrect, it will show here under the Why was your time incorrect? section
- Once you know what what needs to be corrected, select Fix Entries
- Follow the steps above for editing the time entry
- Once all edits are made to the entry, select Done on iOS, or Save on Android in the top right corner then select Close on iOS, or the back arrow on Android in the top left corner
- Select Mark As Resolved >> add a note that explains how the issue was resolved >> select Submit
Split an Employee’s Time Entry on Mobile
Time entries can only be split when using Supervisor Tools. Refer to this great article that goes more in depth on managing time in Supervisor Tools.

Step One: Get Started
- Select the hamburger menu (three stacked lines) on the top left corner
- Select Employees
- Select the employee’s name you’d like to add time for
- Select Time Cards
Step Two: Add the Employee’s Entry
- Click the + in the top right corner on iOS, or the bottom right corner on Android
- Add Project Details: Select the Project box and use the search bar at the top to type in your project’s name, or scroll down the list to choose your new project
- Add Cost Code Details: Select the Cost Code box and use the search bar at the top to type in your cost code’s name, or scroll down the list to choose your new project
- Add Equipment Details: Select the Equipment box and use the search bar at the top to type in your equipment’s name, or scroll down the list to choose your new project
- Add Description: Select the Description box to either edit or add a new description to the time entry
- Add the Start Time: Select the Start Time box and use the pop up at the bottom of your screen to scroll and select the date, hour, minutes, and AM or PM
- Add the End Time: Select the End Time box and use the pop up at the bottom of your screen to scroll and select the date, hour, minutes, and AM or PM
- Add Total Time: Select the Total Time box and use the pop up at the bottom of your screen to scroll and select the hours and minutes
- Add Break Time: Select the Break Time box and use the Start Time and End Time steps above to adjust the date, hour, minutes, and AM or PM. Use the Total Time steps above to adjust the hours and minutes.
Once the entry is made, select Done on iOS, or Save on Android in the top right corner.
Delete an Employee’s Time Entry on Mobile
Step One: Get Started
- Select the hamburger menu (three stacked lines) on the top left corner
- Select Employees
- Select the employee’s name you’d like to add time for
- Select Time Cards
Step Two: Delete the Employee’s Entry
- Find the entry you want to delete
- Select the pencil icon
- Select Delete Entry at the bottom of your screen on iOS, or the trash can icon in the top right corner on Android and a pop up will appear to confirm you want to delete the entry
Deleted time entries CANNOT be brought back. Once they’re deleted, it’s like they never existed. Always edit a time entry if possible so valuable information isn’t deleted on accident. |
