Supervisor Signatures on Time Cards are a great way to ensure peace of mind for both employees and employers. There are lots of different ways to sign an employee’s time card. We know that it can be confusing and take valuable time out of your busybusy day to have to experiment on your own, so to make things easier, this article will list out all of the different ways to sign employee time cards on the web and mobile, letting you find the best route to accommodate your workflow!

Sign an Employee’s Time Card on the Web

From Time Cards 

To get here, select Time Cards in the left navigation menu.

Select Summary. From here you can navigate through the time card's date ranges using the arrows on the top left, then click on an employee’s name. OR you can click on an employee’s name and then navigate through their time cards using the arrows on the top right.
Once you are viewing the correct time card, scroll down to the bottom. Next to Supervisor you will see Click here to sign!

Click on the settings gear in the top right corner of the signature box to change whether you type or manually sign your name!

You can also select either Basic or Expanded (from Time Cards), use the arrows on the top left to navigate through the time card date ranges, scroll to the bottom of the time card, and sign next to Supervisor!

From Employees

Select Employees in the left navigation menu to get here.

Click on an employee’s name. You can use the filter tool on the right if there are several employees listed.  Viewing an employee’s page, click Time Card in the top right. From there you can navigate through an employee’s time cards with the arrows in the top right. Scroll to the bottom of their time card and sign next to Supervisor.

From Employees

Tap the 3 stacked lines in the top left corner, this will bring up the left navigation menu! Tap Employees and select an employee. You can tap the drop down at the top of the screen to filter by Employee Groups. From the employee’s page select Time Cards, then Pay Period. You can use the arrows at the top to navigate through the current and past pay periods. Scroll to the bottom of the time card and above Supervisor Signature you’ll see PRESS HERE TO SIGN. You can then use your finger or a stylus to sign in the box!

From Supervisor Tools

If you are a supervisor and haven’t set up Supervisor Tools, you’re missing out! Luckily, I have linked a great article we have all about Supervisor Tools here that will make your day-to-day work easier!

From the left navigation menu tap Supervisor Tools, then select an employee from your crew who needs their time card signed. Tap Time Cards and then Pay Period. Then use the arrows at the top to navigate to the correct time card. Scroll to the bottom and sign above Supervisor Signature!

From Supervisor Tools you can also tap the 3 dot stack in the bottom right labeled More, then Pay Period. From there you can use the arrows at the top to navigate through the current and past pay periods and even see if a previous pay period is missing signatures! Tap the employee whose time card you wish to sign, scroll to the bottom, and sign above Supervisor Signatures!
