Managing Equipment (Web & Mobile)

You have your equipment added - great!  But,  what if you need to make changes?  We’ll walk you through how to do that here!

On the Web

Step One: Find the Equipment You Want to Edit

1. Click on Equipment in your left side menu
2. Click on Show All at the top of the Equipment page
3. Click on the name of the machine you want to edit or
   • Use the Filter section on the right side. Select from the dropdown list or the search box and click Apply. 

2. Then, click on the piece of Equipment

4. Click Manage

Step Two: Make Your Edits

1. Click the details you want to edit
   1. You can edit the name as well as the make/model/year
   2. You can also manually add hours to the equipment here, and input the hourly rate for this piece.
2. Don’t forget to click Save when you’re done making your changes!
3. You can also delete the piece of equipment by clicking on the Delete button

On Mobile

Step One: Find the Equipment You Want to Edit

1. Click on the three bars on the top left for a drop down menu

2. Click on Equipment in your left side menu
3. Select the name of the machine you want to edit or type in the name in the Search bar or
   1. Click on All Equipment at the top
   2. Click on the Type of equipment you are searching for
   3. Select the piece from the list to be edited
4. Click the gear icon in the top right corner

Step Two: Make Your Edits

1. Click the details you want to edit
   1. You can edit the name as well as the make, model, and year
   2. You can also manually add hours to the equipment here, and input the hourly rate for this piece for job costing purposes
2. You can also add or update the picture of the piece of equipment by clicking on the camera icon and following the prompts
3. Don’t forget to click SAVE or Done in the top right corner when you’re done making your changes!

Good to know!!   *This feature is only available to specific permission levels. The default position/permissions setting provides access to admins but not other positions. You must have your permissions to Manage Equipment set to “YES in order to make edits.                        ”**Custom permission levels can be set. (Pro Feature) *Deleting a piece of equipment will permanently take it out of inventory and it can’t be retrieved
