Request Time Off (iOS & Android)

Need to ask for some time off? This can be done directly from the busybusy app! There are different reasons for a time off request: holidays, vacation, personal, or sick time. Gone are the days when you feel nervous asking for time off or are worried about a request being forgotten. With a few clicks on the busybusy mobile app you can have your request submitted and go about your workday in seconds! 

For iOS:

1. Go to the Dashboard. You can get there from anywhere in the mobile app by clicking on the three horizontal lines (we call it a “hamburger icon”) and choosing Dashboard.
2. From the Dashboard, click on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select Request Time Off. If you have permission to edit others’ time this option will read View & Request Time Off.  Read more about Positions and Permissions here.
4. In the Time Off screen, select the Request Time Off blue banner at the bottom of the screen.
5. Fill in the details of your request - you’ll click on the section and then scroll to choose.

• Date (or dates if multiple days are being requested)
• Type
• Description (if needed)
• Paid or Unpaid (this is a toggle that will be blue for Paid, gray for Unpaid).

For Android:

GOOD TO KNOW!!!!!       After submitting your time off request: Your supervisor will be able to view and approve or deny your request.    You can go to Dashboard >> three dots in top right corner >> View & Request Time Off>> Requests to see the status.  To learn more about the Time Off Report click here. If you have permission to edit your own time, you’ll also have a “+” sign in the top right corner that will allow you to schedule time off without needing approval.
