Reports on Mobile - an Overview (iOS & Android)

This article gives an overview of the variety of reports you can access from the busybusy app on your phone!

Access all reports by clicking on the three horizontal lines on the top left (we call it a “hamburger icon”) then choosing Reports from the menu.

The reports are broken down into two main categories: Management and Labor Activity. 

Management

Title: Time Card Approval

Definition: This report shows which of your employees has signed or not signed their timecard. You can also see if there is a missing employee or supervisor signature. If you want to sign, click on any pencil icon to the right of an employee’s name. 

T: Daily Sign-In

D: This report shows who of your employees has signed (aka answered) the sign-in questions and who has not. To answer these questions click on Sign Now to the right of the employee’s name. 

*Note: this report will not show if you do not have Daily Sign-In questions turned on.

T: Daily Sign-Off

D: This report shows who of your employees has signed (aka answered) the sign-off questions and who has not. You can also see who reported an injury or time issue. To answer these questions click on Sign Now to the right of the employee’s name. 

T:  Conflict Resolution

D:  This report shows which employee has conflicting time entries. If you have permission you can edit or delete time entries right from this report.

T: Time Off

D: This report shows approved upcoming and previous time off, as well as requests submitted by employees. 

T: Employee Analysis

D: This report does a deeper dive into the employees who fit each category. These categories are: 

1. Injuries reported
2. Incorrect time reported
3. 10+ hour days
4. No-break days
5. Started after (time of your choice)
6. Ended after (time of your choice)
7. Started before (time of your choice)
8. Ended before (time of your choice)

Once you select a category, dates will appear then after selecting a date, names of employees will show. 

T: Time Card Analysis

D: This report goes into more detail about time card information. The different categories are:

1. Conflicts
2. No clock in location
3. No clock out location
4. Locations outside project
5. No project
6. No cost code
7. No equipment
8. With description

Once you select a category, dates will appear then after selecting a date, names of employees will show. 

T: Break Hours

D: This report shows the minutes and hours your employees allocated toward a break and their answer to the break question (if this question is turned on for sign-off).

T: Photo Verification

D: If your company uses kiosk mode this report will show the number of photos taken in kiosk mode and how many failed matches there were.

T: Daily Project Reports

D: This report will show all the Daily Project Reports created that day and for what project. 

Labor Activity 

T: Project Activity

D: This report shows the total number of hours allocated to each project. If you click on a specific project the employees and their hours will be displayed. To see the time card click on the employee’s name.

T: Employee Activity

D: This report shows the total number of hours recorded by an employee. If you click on a specific employee the projects they clocked into will be displayed. Click on a project and the time cards will show. 

T: Cost Code Activity

D: This report shows the total number of hours a cost code was used. For more detail click on any of the cost codes and the time card details will appear. 

T: Equipment Activity

D: This report shows you the total number of hours a piece of equipment was clocked into. For more detail click on the equipment name and projects associated with that will appear. Click on a project to view the time card. 

T: By Day Activity

D: This report shows the total number of hours worked by date. Click on a date to view more detail. Projects will appear; click on a project to view the time entries associated with that project, on that day.

T: By Date Range Activity

D: This report shows the total number of hours worked within a certain date range. You can choose the grouping displayed by clicking on the By Week in the middle left. Choose by Week, Month or Pay Period. To see more detail click on a date range and projects will appear. Click on a project to see the time entries associated with that date range.
