This guide will help you prevent employees from using a busybusy Kiosk device for anything other than the busybusy app in Kiosk Mode. We accomplish this by locking down the device using a system setting called Guided Access.

What is Guided Access?
Guided Access keeps an iPhone or iPad in a single app, and allows you to control which features are available. Setting up busybusy under Guided Access is easy, but the first time requires performing a few additional steps.
Step One: Enable Guided Access
Go to the device's settings.
Find and Tap on Accessibility.
Scroll all the way down and tap into Guided Access > Toggle the setting On.
Select Passcode Settings, then select Set Guided Access Passcode.
Enter a passcode, then reenter it. From here, you can also turn on Face ID or Touch ID as a way to end a Guided Access session.
Step Two: Put the busybusy app into Guided Access mode
Open up the busybusy app.
Triple-click the Home button.
(Optional) Tap on Options in the bottom right corner to configure specific settings like which buttons can be used, if keyboards are available, if there is a time limit, etc.
Tap Start in the top right corner.
You have now set busybusy to Guided Access mode. This will prevent employees from using the device for anything other than busybusy.
You can now start Kiosk Mode from the side navigation menu in busybusy and then configure the Kiosk device. Learn more about setting up Kiosk Mode HERE!
Disabling Guided Access Mode
Triple-click the Home button.
Enter your passcode or use Facial Recognition if you have enabled Face ID in the Guided Access settings.
Tap "End".
