Instructors can manage and complete safety trainings directly from busybusy’s web platform. This allows them to reference training materials, mark attendance, collect signatures, add photos and notes, and finalize the training meeting. This article will guide you through the process of accessing and completing a safety training meeting on the web.
Want to learn how to do this on the mobile app? Check out our article HERE.
Only instructors with permission to manage safety trainings will be able to access scheduled training meetings on the web. You can learn more about the relevant permissions settings in our article HERE. |
Steps for Instructors to Access and Complete Safety Trainings (Web):
Step 1: Access Scheduled Safety Trainings
Log In to busybusy Web:
Open your web browser and log in to your busybusy account.
Navigate to Safety Trainings:
From the main menu, click on Safety and select Trainings.
Make sure you are under the Scheduled tab to view upcoming and in-progress safety training meetings.
Select the Scheduled Training:
Find the training meeting you need to conduct and click on it to view the training details.
Step 2: Conduct the Safety Training
Review Training Material:
Within the selected training, click on the attached training material to open and review it. This material can be referenced during the training session to ensure all safety topics are covered.
Mark Attendance:
Click on the Attendance section to view the list of employees scheduled for the training.
Check the boxes next to the names of the employees who are present.
If you need to add additional attendees (e.g., if someone joined last minute), click Add Attendees and select the relevant employees.
Collect Signatures:
Employees can sign directly on the web by clicking on their name in the attendance list. A signature box will appear, allowing them to use the mouse to sign their name.
Add Photos and Notes:
Click on the Notes section to add any relevant comments or observations about the training session.
Use the Add Photos option to upload any related images or documentation for the training.
Step 3: Mark the Training as Complete
Final Review:
Ensure that all attendees are marked and signatures are collected, and any additional notes or photos have been added.
Mark Complete:
When the training session is finished, click the Mark Complete button to finalize the meeting.
After marking as complete, the main meeting details (date, title, instructor, and training materials) become non-editable, but you can still add notes, photos, or update the attendance if necessary.
Editing a Completed Meeting
While the main details of the meeting cannot be edited after it's marked as complete, you can still:
Add Additional Attendees: Click on Add Attendees in the attendance section.
Update Attendance and Signatures: Mark additional employees as present or allow them to sign if they missed signing earlier.
Add Notes and Photos: Click on the Notes section to make further documentation updates.
