Know which report is best for your needs and the information you’re seeking.

busybusy collects a lot of information for you about your employees, and we offer a variety of reports for your convenience so you can analyze that data. With so many options we wanted to provide an overview that can help you narrow down the options with a little less leg-work on your part!

Need a report that has a breakdown of the hours that your employees worked on a project, including cost code details?

Activity Reports will help with that! From the left navigation menu click Activity Reports > By Project. Use the filter on the far right to narrow down your search or choose a more specific date range. Click the project you want to see the details of. If you want to see a summary of employees and cost codes for that project, change the report to show By Employee and By Cost Code. Check out our video HERE for more information on that third level reporting. You can have the first drop down menu showing Summary or Time Entries, depending on the level of detail you’re needing.

There is a ton of information available to you in all of our Activity Reports, so they’re definitely worth exploring and experimenting with to see what best fits your needs! All of these reports are exportable and printable by clicking the three dot icon on the top right.

Need to see progress details?

First things first, make sure you have Progress Tracking turned on in your account. You can learn more about that HERE. Once you have Progress turned on, use the filters on the right side of the Progress tab to specify the details you want to focus on.

Once you have the details you want selected, click on the Export button in the top right corner. This will export a nice .csv file for you to have your progress information!

Need to find who clocked an employee in?

One of the great things about the way busybusy displays time card information is that you’re able to view the Logs for time entries to see the details of who created the time entry. The log will also show who made any edits, and from what device they did this.

There are two ways to see this information. The first is to use the Time Cards > Event Logs report. This report breaks down actions taken on a timecard including: when the action was performed, the employee the time card belongs to, the details of the entry, who performed the action, if there was any GPS data, and what device was used. You can also use the right side filters to specify the information you want to see.

The second way to view this data (on a smaller scale) is to view an employee's timecard entries on the web. From the left navigation menu select Time Cards > Entries. Scroll all the way to the right of the entry and click the circled i icon. This will pull up the log details for that specific entry.

Need a summary of your employees’ time off data?

We’ve got you! On the left navigation menu, scroll down a bit until you see the More tab. Click to expand, and select Time Off. From there, you can see the time off information for your employees, and use the right side filters to hone in on what exactly you’re looking for. This report is exportable and printable. If you would like to learn more about this report, please check out our article HERE.

Need a breakdown of your employees’ answers to the Daily Sign In/Out questions?

On the left navigation menu click on the Verification & Safety section and it will expand and let you select Daily Sign-In or Daily Sign-Off. The Daily Sign-In and Daily Sign-Off sections will let you view your questions and any flagged answers, as well as apply a number of filters (that can be found on the right side) to help you dig into any specific details you may be in search of. Our article HERE can help walk you through how to resolve those sign off questions.

If you want to turn on these features, you can find instructions on how to do so at these following links: Daily Sign-In, Daily Sign-Out.
