Daily Sign In Questions are answered before clocking in to ensure employees are prepared to start the day. It never hurts to answer a couple of questions first thing in the morning, unless you’re the parent of a toddler who wants to know (at 5:30 am) if dogs have a favorite color. But luckily for you, most sign in questions are easy to answer and only take a few seconds, i.e. “Do you have your required PPE?”
Why do some employers require answering Daily Sign In Questions?
It might feel like nagging or babysitting, but most employers just want to ensure employees are safe and ready to start the workday. Common Sign In Questions include asking about safety equipment, training, wellness, or per diem.
Answering these questions will ensure issues and concerns are noted and addressed quickly. Daily Sign In Questions can be vital on remote job sites where communication with administration can be difficult and limited. |

Step Three: Tap on Daily Sign In Questions
Step Four: Answer the Sign In Questions
All questions will require a “Yes or No”’ answer. Answer the questions to the best of your knowledge. Some questions will ask for further clarification. Your typed responses will appear in a Daily Sign In Report next to your submitted answer.
Step Five: Submit your answers
After the questions have been answered, tap the SUBMIT button in the upper right corner. Depending on your answers, you will be allowed to clock in or be restricted from clocking in. If this happens, contact your supervisor for further instructions or follow the directions on the screen if they are provided.
| What happens if my clock in is restricted?
In most cases, you can proceed with clocking in after answering the questions. However, depending on some answers, clock in could be restricted. If this happens, you will receive further instructions on what to do. If you accidentally cause a clock in restriction by mistakenly submitting an answer, the supervisor or office administrator can clock you in for the day. |
Just in case you were wondering, dogs 🐶 have dichromatic vision and can only discern blue and yellow. So if your toddler asks what a dog’s favorite color is, pick one of those two colors. You have a 50% chance of getting it right.😁
