The Explanation
| IMPORTANT: Why can’t I Edit/Change the Question and Explanation?
To protect the integrity of a question’s response, it is not possible to change the question. This prevents previously collected answers from possibly being misinterpreted by changing the meaning of the question.
For example, if a question was created asking, “Do you have all your PPE with you?” and later that same question was edited to read, “Are you missing any PPE today?”, then all the previously collected responses would no longer have the correct context. For this purpose, it is not possible to edit the main question or explanation. However, you can delete old sign-in questions and create a new sign-in question at any time. |
Edit a Previously Created Sign-In Question
Step One: Navigate to the Sign-In Question you want to edit
Select Settings near the bottom of the left-hand navigation menu.
Click on Daily Sign-In/Out in the left column.
Move your cursor to anywhere in the box under Daily Sign-In >> click anywhere in this box.
Click on the Sign-In Question you wish to edit.
Step Two: Make your desired changes to the appropriate fields
Note: Remember, you cannot edit the question or explanation, but you can edit the other fields such as Whom to Ask and the Handle “Yes”/“No” Responses. If you wish to change the question itself or its explanation, a new question will need to be created.
Step Three: Submit the Edited Question
Click on the Submit button at the bottom of the page.
Your question is now edited, and the updated version will be immediately available to your employees.
Delete a Previously Created Sign-In Question
Step One: Navigate to the Sign-In Question you want to delete
Select Settings near the bottom of the left navigation menu.
Click on Daily Sign-In/Out in the left column.
Move your cursor to anywhere in the box under Daily Sign-In >> click anywhere in this box.
Click on the Sign-In Question you wish to delete.
Step Two: Delete the Question
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Delete
Important: A warning message will appear asking if you want to delete this question forever. Please note that if this particular question has answers attached to it, the answers will not be erased. The answers will be archived and available to view in the Daily Sign-In Reports. However, the question will be deleted.
If you are confident you are ready to delete this question, select Delete. Remember, past answers will be archived.
|
Important Note: By deleting a Sign-In Question, that question will no longer be available on the Daily Sign-In Questionnaire. However, submitted responses will still be available to view on the Daily Sign-In Report. So, for example, if you wish to delete the Covid Question, you will still be able to view past responses for the Covid Question, but the question will be deleted and will no longer be asked every day going forward. |
Your question is now deleted, and the updated version of the Sign In questionnaire will be immediately available to your employees.
