Clock In and Clock Out from the Web

Clock In and track your time right from your desktop with busybusy’s Web Clock In feature.

Many construction companies love the fact that employees can use busybusy to clock in with their phones, but it’s equally important to be able to clock in from a computer. busybusy’s web-based Clock In gives employees who spend time at a desk the ability to track their time from their desktop computer. Employees who might use this feature include secretaries, payroll admin, HR, company owners etc. However, any user, from office to field crewman, can use a computer to log onto busybusy.io and track time. This article will give you instructions on how to clock in and out using your desktop computer.

How to Clock In from the Web

Step One: Log onto your busybusy account.

    1. Click the words LOG IN in the upper right corner.

  1. Enter your busybusy username and password and click the Sign In button.

Step Two: Click on My Status in the left navigation menu

  • The My Status page is your own personal dashboard. You can view your time card, schedule, photos you’ve taken, or see how many hours you’ve worked for the week, month, or pay period. Lots of really great information here.

Step Three: Click on the Clock In button in the upper right corner

Step Four: From the Clock In Window Select ‘Project’, ‘Cost Code’, ‘Equipment’ as needed

  • Some companies will require employees to complete a Daily Sign In Questionnaire before Clocking in. Look for the words “Not Submitted (Required)”. If you see this, please complete the questionnaire by clicking on the box that reads “Not Submitted (Required)”. Answer the questions, and hit the word “Submit” at the bottom of the questionnaire. Step Five: Click the word Submit at the bottom of the Clock In Window to finish clocking In.

That’s it! You’re all clocked in and ready to start your exciting day!

I forgot to clock in once because when I sat down at my desk I realized my personal heater had burned through an extension cord and almost started an electrical fire. I was literally putting out fires from the second I arrived at work. So we get it, stuff happens. Everyone forgets to clock in every once in a while. No worries, we got you.
